GSM v. CDMA is mostly about the world travel factor, but even then 90% of CDMA phones have the ability to work on GSM networks around the world.

LTE will be better for all of us - phones will all use the same radios (and, hence, be able to roam to different carriers easily), and production should be somewhat cheaper since they'll all be using the same ****. Not that we'll notice it Im sure
