Can u hide it with them huge JDM band aids? :ugh:

Actually, you should check and see if you have any damage coverage on return. Our Acura lease had like $1500 with no more than $500 per incident. And everything they listed was priced with a super low estimate. Somebody had shot the fender with a nail gun or something and it was all rusted with a 1/2" hole by the time we returned the car. Well the estimate line item for that item was $126 or something stupid :rofl2:

Personally, I wouldn't drive around with the damage, but it might be an option :icon17: :ugh:

Also, you're probably right that your personal mechanic or a competent body shop could do the repair without replacing the fender completely.

I stopped by the dealership to ask. She looked at me like I was an idiot and said I was sol. Insurance put it at $1,100 of damage naturally so it shows on the report. They want a whole new fender replaced and repaint of the surrounding area. Screw them. Hopefully my guy can find a salvage junk fender or PDR the ever living crap out of it with some paint thrown in. Insurance is freaking useless in the state of NY. $500 deductible my ***.

The financing is not through the dealership. They never know. I even tried calling Honda (since they financed it). I eventually found it myself in the contract paperwork.

Their insurance or your insurance? Don't claim it through your insurance if you can avoid it.

We had a bunch of hail damage that they wanted me to pay $1100 for at the end of the lease. I got them to cut it in half if I agreed to pay in full on the spot. That was way better than filing a claim on my insurance and still paying my $500 deductible. Basically, I paid $50 more NOT to have the claim on my insurance.

My mechanic says he is going to try some PDR and repaint. If that doesn't work, a knock off chinese fender and some paint. It'll be under $600 for everything so i won't have to pay the deductible. His exact words. "They won't know the ****ing difference"
