Really need help with Las Vegas car hire
Hey guys.
I'm coming from the UK to Vegas and I want to go to LA from 30th October to 1st November. The car hire companies in the uk all include insurance and it's an all inclusive price. My mind is boggled with the USA rental companies because two of my friends have told me they hired a car but didn't realise it didn't include insurance and that it's cheaper to arrange your own. Can anyone please help a brother over the pond? Lol I've looked at net flights website and they use Alamo. The lady on the phone said its all inclusive and everything's covered .....but the rental is like $25 a day. That's super cheap so surely insurance isn't included? Much much appreciated!! You can use your current car insurance you just have to give them the name of the company and your insurance policy number.
Thats it you can drive your rental and your insurance covers any untoward accidents. |

Having your insurance company to cover for a rental car abroad might be a possibility, this is the part where you call your insurance agent or company and ask. Decide from here.
$25 doesn't include any insurance coverage and fuel; it's probably for a subcompact or a compact. In case you have never been to the US, the roads are wide and straight (yes, boring), so try to get a vehicle that's larger in size with a larger engine (I lean toward V8 heavily) so it can cruise in the (boring) highways and freeways in a relaxed and comfortable manner. Fuel prices are relatively very cheap compared to UK and all of Europe, so even a gas guzzler (by today's standards) wouldn't cost much to operate. |

Thanks for the reply guys.
If everything's included in happy to pay more for a bigger car. This is the website. I called them and they said all insurance is covered but the price is so cheap I doubt it Can anyone explain if it actually is? I'm not sure if Collision damaged waiver means insurance or just means that your covered for the excess but still need to pay for any damage Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
