Wives?

this thread makes me laugh. i bet half the posters in here would go scurrying behind the couch if their wives saw them posting.

i´ve lived through all the stages with my wife. if you are spending money irresponsibly on a car then your wife could and should give you sh!t. if you are well off enough to have some money left at the end of the month but you have to take turns on big purchases, then she should weigh in, but let you do what you want. if you have a budget that has enough in it for both of you to have an "allowance" then she shouldn´t care how you spend it.

i feel blessed to finally have gotten to the final stage and not have to worry, but i don´t forget what it was like to have a passion for cars and barely have enough to pay rent and eat (or for car parts and ramen

and a lot bitching and complaining from the wife).

Buy it and answer questions later...been married for 20+ yrs , what is she gonna leave me cause I dropped 5k on an audio system... Ummm you remember 349k I spent on your house that I'll never pay for...lol, nuff said !

Dont ask permission of course they will say no, just buy what the hell you want...as long as you don't jeopardize the welfare of your family or deprive of a meal and take care of bills like you should...just do it !
