That reminds me...
On the way home yesterday, we came over a hill and there was a semi pulled over on the *inside* shoulder... Then on the other side of the higway, there were two cops with two cars pulled over... Then another 100 yards up, another cop, and so on... We saw at least 10 cop cars all with lights on and people pulled over on the other side.
I'm guessing the city had decided some extra money would look good for election year. It's so dumb, we have all this crime here and then we have 8-lane highways with 55 mph speed limits where most of the time traffic goes 75+ mph with zero incidents and then the IMPD gets a bug up their *** to "slow everyone down" (i.e. hand out a shitload of tickets to increase revenue) under the guise of the Mayor's "Action Plan to Keep Our Highways Safer" or some **** like that.
