That's what i've been doing. Trying to solo some of the easier runs to get a feel for strategies and balance.

For sure. The maps are really important to know well. No shame is doing missions on normal or hard. When it first came out I had no idea what the hell to do. I just picked skills at random that sounded cool lol was a total mess of a build.
