I had a Honeywell but I broke it. But I loved the damn thing. Now I am looking into the nest since I have a drop cam. |

i had a honeywell programmable one too, it was short cycling like a mofo. |
only issue i have with this new thermostat is that it is a yay bit smaller than the honeywell so i have 2 holes and area around the new thermostat missing paint on the wall :ugh:
:rofl2: will make a CF bezel for it and it'll be good. ;) will just put some kind of cover using craft paper or something. |

We've had a Nest for a couple of years now. The thing works great. AC/heat comes on way less frequently than the old thermostat, and the bonus of being able to adjust the temp while laying in bed is awesome

Why am i still at work? Why do things want to break as I'm ready to leave? grrr.... taco Hell tonight. No more leftovers.
How hard is it to install a nest? I know jack about thermostats. |

my hvac uses 4 wires and as mr. jar mentioned, very easy to install.
my wires are color coded too.. yellow, green, white, red. i think they were. just hook it up to the Y, G, W, R terminals. can't get any easier. |
btw leon, did you hardwire your dashcam? :ugh2:

The wire colors actually matched the colors on the terminals on the Nest  |
