Repainting Room What Color?
 

So when I got my room when I was around 14 I was able to choose what color I wanted everything. For some stupid reason I picked like a green color for both my walls and floor. This coming weekend I want to repaint it but have no idea what will go with the green carpet. Any ideas are welcome.

You have a lot of wood, the colors that traditionally go with wood tones are dull green, off white, white, light blue, and light purple.

Thats a pretty badass room but you need a bigger TV!

I would agree with white.

Ya that is what I am trying to do, get the wall to kind of let the wood flow with it.

Painting ftl though make sure you cover EVERYTHING with plastic so paint doesnt get all over it

the woods are dark tones and light beige wall would accent it.... makes the room feel warm...

paint the walls off white and one wall beige as an accent wall

I like that thought, but I would probably go with mauve as an accent wall. Either way is a win.

You can look them up on there website, let me know if any of those would be good. Than the next step will be to get a sample size of the color and see how I like it.

Here's my room, i like the lighte colors, makes the room bigger

Nice man but with a room that is 24 ft long 16ft wide and 8ft tall I do not think I need to make it feel bigger, I DO like the yellow.

That's a good lookin floor. I got an estimate to paint the inside of my house, $4k. I almost puked.

Well about 4 months ago I repainted my neighbors hallways and the living room. To give you an idea the room is 24 ft high 24 ft wide and 17ft long. The entire job took me about a week. But I got 500 bucks. :tup:

I think I am going to pickup a pint can of that color tomorrow frost and see how I like it. Not sure about a accent wall yet.

home depot and lowes sells trial size paint sample's, good luck. i know i'm not much help

A little over 3K square feet. Some of my ceilings go up to 20 feet.

My only fear about that color frost suggested is will it blend with the carpet?

I'd say off white. All the colours here looks really girly. Can't go wrong with white.
