See: Breakfast Club, Ghostbusters, Goonies, Ferris Beuler's Day Off (this one wasn't awful), Back to the Future, Hellraiser, Tron, etc.

If you don't find it funny, or didn't enjoy some of those on your list, the problem isn't the movie, it's the viewer.
