Fun times at the Honda dealer. On Monday, I just couldn't let well enough alone as I pointed out three very minor scratches on the car after I had them redo the exterior protectant completely. It was a million times better than the first time when they gave it back to me with the trunk lid scratched to hell. I got the car back today with the same three minor scratches plus another long one. And this is after their head detailer came out to meet me on Monday and said he was going to fix it himself

I'm done with the whole thing. My wife will never notice them. I'm going to clay and wax it myself this weekend, and we'll see how poor a job they really did. I pointed out the scratches when I picked it up today, and they of course said they would take care of them again. I said don't bother, and handed them 3 dozen fresh glazed Krispy Kreme donuts to show there were no hard feelings :) Because with 5 year coverage on chips and scratches, I know I will be back ;)

Oh i got the pre-tacohell bloating.. :ugh:

Dealers don't seem to care about swirls or scratches... I found a blue fiber stuck to my wife's fit yesterday.. the nylon used for car wash brushes.. :ugh:

No they do not. Until you loudly point them out on their showroom GT-R. Suddenly, several salespeople are ready to escort you outside to look at cars on the lot :icon17:

When I was detailing, dealerships paid out $7.25 an hour and you had to use your own products. I have no faith in dealership "detailers" lol
