Greetings -- the conference room to which I am relegated here in the Harrisonburg facility overlooks the area where they load the chickens into the facility for their final journey. It is a bit stinky as they load about 9,400 birds per hour.

Should not have had that half a small Sonic blizzard for dessert. :ugh:

From Motor Trend and the Tesla Model S

According to the EPA's 5-cycle test procedure, it's rated at 265 miles in its extended range mode, which fills the battery nearly to its brim. But after our testing wrapped, and we plugged it in to recharge, I happened to glance at the car's big, 17-inch, multi-touch display and its energy-use data. Eeek -- all of our testing, including a few dragstrip runs just for photography, had consumed 13 miles. And the car's computer was predicting that at the abusive rate we were going, our Model S was only good for another...40 miles. A 265-mile range? Is this really possible?

:icon17: actually i got a chance to drive a camry the other month for business.

jokes aside, if i was a regular person, that car is actually not bad for daily use. super tight turn radius, good visibility, plenty of standard features, etc. i can see why they are so popular.

b15 07-20-2015 03:52 PM

I may just lease something cheap. I'm never home so the car either sits on the driveway or at the airport so I can't justify spending too much on a commuter car. Just something decent looking and reliable. Part of me is also wanting to trade in the Z and get into a sports sedan. I'm all over the place.

Actually Pluto is smaller. That is the moon. Pluto is 2/3 the size of the moon.

Interesting fact: the US Flag we planted on the moon was one of those tiny ones on a toothpick.
