I love my 3" orbital. I use that more than my 6" with all the damn curves the Z has.

It was hilarious. How nonchalantly you said it was sheer perfection

Why do polishers have to be so expensive....

 After a while I just KNOW when it is going to be a chore to have them look for the power button. Most everyone knows what a power cord is. I have had people pull out ethernet cords, vga cords and a couple times they told me they pulled them ALL out just to make sure they got the correct one :rofl2:

Keep an eye out at the local pawn shops and for black friday sales. Not usually massive discounts but still save some cash. I think the Griots one was only $125 w/ free shipping and 6 pads. Not too bad.

That's not to bad for the griots. I just can't justify $200+ for the sole purpose of waxing haha. I'm half tempted to just use my new drill with one of those meguiar polisher attachments.

No, do not do that.

I only use my polisher for polishing the paint, and I try to not have to do that if at all possible. Especially with Nissan paint. I am much faster waxing/sealing the car by hand.

Guess I am just getting lazy. 3 hrs of waxing just isn't as fun for me anymore. I do everything by hand. Pre rinse, wash, clean, wipe. Polish, clay, wax. Need to buy a water cannon and a cold air blow dryer :icon17:

Should only have to clay MAYBE once a year. I have done it once in 3 years. Wash it correctly, blot dry with a good waffle weave towel, use some spray wax after you dry a section if you want and call it a day. you shouldn't have to polish the paint hardly at all, unless you introduce marring, and if you wash correctly that wont happen often. *This is the second time I have had to polish the paint since buying it in late 2012, first time was right after driving home from the dealership. Wax it once a month and call it good. I am tired, and rambling lol

*I did polish the CF hood too not too long ago, but that doesnt count :icon17:

I think I just might. Seems to work good with both Iphone and Android if I choose to go that route.

Leingod 07-24-2015 02:27 PM

I was looking at that pioneer HU. Looks great. I'm tired of the car having bluetooth, but can't stream music.

does it work with iphone without connecting the harness? if so dat would be very cool. my 4500BT works great with my android, but when i tried my ipod-touch a couple of weeks ago, it only worked like a BT receiver. can stream music, but functionality very limited..

i know i can plug the ipod into the back to get more features out of it, but that's pointless for me. needs to be wireless.
