OK. I got boxes for shipping. $17 for a large or $13 for a medium flat rate to nywhere in the U.S. in a large, I can fit two 51oz bottles and maybe a small 16oz or something. Medium will fit six 16oz roughly. Not sure about squeezing a single 51oz into it. But if anyone wants dirt cheap quality olive oil, let me know. I can PM you a sheet so you can see what I can get.
Just figured I'd try to help out in ways that I can since you guys help me so much. |
Yah I got to go tint the new fit too soon..

What are the tint laws there? Just stay within the limits and you should be fine

i got the new fit back from the dealer. on the way there, i drove the current gen loaner civic.
wat a POS. seriously, that thing is dull as a corolla. there's nothing 'honda' about it. :shakes head: i was like 15min into the drive and wanted to just walk the rest of the trip. i had a civic-EX 2 generations back. that car was pretty nice for wat it was. WTF did they do to this gen civic? |
|
|
btw, i lol'ed at the description of repair they did. they wrote down on the service order sheet that they lubed the seals for the power window fix.
F-U, the frikken glass had completely separated from the regulator when i found the problem. i am 150% confident the 2 fasteners came loose or the glass just separated from its brackets. who the f- do they think i am? next time im definitely taking the car in. f-king lubing the seal. wat BS. |

I haven't driven a civic in a long time. I must say the current gen is definitely better looking then the previous few years though.

We have an empty building in the area near work, with a nice brand-new paved lot.
I'm almost tempted to drive the Z to work and park it over there. :icon17: |

It's a crapbox economy car, and in that regard it's one of the best, but it doesn't have the Honda driving dynamics that they used to. Also, you are insane. But for different reasons. |

And I'm only insane in the sense of when i was 5. I stuck a flintstone vitamin up my nose which got stuck. I was to scared to tell anyone so i let it melt in my nose over the course of a few weeks. |
goodam, everyone! :hello:
Is it 5 yet? .... :ugh: |
Alright. Off to work... Then I'll be back on. haha. May go stalk the detailing threads today and watch some more youtube videos I got sent.

We already agreed that the Si doesn't really offer much over those cars. But all Civics used to have good driving dynamics, even my old '92 DX hatch was fun to toss around. The '99 Si I traded it in on was even more fun, which it should be, because it's an Si. But back then compared to every other compact POS the Civic just had something the others didn't, and that was driving dynamics. The new ones are just disconnected and boring. Quote:
