Bocce ball?

In Chicago the other week, my wife and I enjoyed some libations at the newly opened Game Room bar on the second floor of the Chicago Athletic Association. They have an indoor bocce ball court that is free to play

Yup! What kind of courts were they? Ours are gravel bits with wooden side boards and carpeted boards at the front/back. The World Series is held in my city each year. I think Cleveland has the 2nd biggest tourney of the year afterwards.

It's like a month old. Give it a year or three and see how it looks then :icon17:

But yeah, it was a pretty nice set up. The Chicago Athletic Association used to be a private club (very expensive) for all the local athletes. But it was bought up a few years ago, renovated, and opened to the public. The Game Room bar is a fairly new addition with the one bocce ball court, several billiards and shuffleboard tables, along with tables for chess/checkers/backgammon/poker/etc. All free to use (just have to sign up - there's usually a wait).
