dang.. the biggest pita was trying not to get grease on my floor mats!

sometimes i worry i will never be able to get out of the car ever again..lying down in a weird position.

until my wife calls 'ken-san, dinner's ready!'

im out of the car and heading to wash my hands immediately.

Sand papering now. This bolt def needs to be thinner. I'd need a sledge hammer to fit it back into those holes.

It was in there once, it will fit. I had to press the pedal in just a touch to get it to be aligned just right to get the pin back in. Be sure no dirt on shaft, no high spots from marring. Regrease if necc.

I got it in finally. I had to sand it profusely and then it slid back in. No way in hell was I doing that like it originally was. The blot is still wicked tight after it goes through all 3 holes and the little clip is back in place. Doubt it's going anywhere. I don't even feel like driving the damn thing after that ordeal.
