My last car was a Vette. Every month at least $400-500 in mechanic bills. What a piece of crap!! Never again will I buy an American muscle car. The LS1 was fast and fun. But never again!! Hell no!!

Yes, I believe it

Not everyone parks their car in the winter. Not really sure why everyone is so anal about it.

Because the salt will literally ruin the car. :-) 99.9% who own a corvette, or any other expensive sports car, would never do that. Too much money invested.

It's like wearing a tuxedo to a mud wrestling match :-)

'cept I pulled a brilliant move and didn't change over to my snow tires until it was 15 degrees outside. My butt was literally numb for an entire day after that. Almost went to the hospital (which is NOT EVER my goal) because the feeling wouldn't come back.

Nothing beats the fun of a RWD sports car, winter tires, and snow. Unless we're talking some collectors item I will always drive my cars in the winter.

When it snows I call my Z the "Powersled"...but thanks to the Blizzaks I really don't do too much sliding.

iamcobolt 03-27-2015 11:34 PM

Why would salt be on the road in winter?!? #ShitLASays

Some people like to baby their cars and that's fine. It's also fine if you like to drive your car and are okay with it being less than perfect. I fall into the latter. If it breaks I'll buy another. http://imgur.com/YoGCMBj

Or, when it breaks, buy another and convert the Z into a track car :happydance:
