Bathroom Reading Material

What are you reading while in the crapper? Sometimes its my only chance to read anything at all.

Here's what I'm reading...

Modern Drunkard is a pretty cool rag on all things booze-related.

MRR is a proper 'zine that, among other things, reviews new and pretty underground music, primarily various incarnations of punk rock.

Walking Dead and Playboy are what they are.

That one in the top left corner is really a "coffee table book" (I own no such table, and if I did, it would be a beer table) with cool pics of Debby Harry, Richard Hell, Joey Ramone, et al back from the early days of NY punk.

Sadly, Bizarre Magazine is out of print as of February.

What are you reading while perched on the throne of contemplation?

Laptop reading counts as reading material

That's why no car mags, BTW, -- I usually read that stuff online.

For a while I was a big fan of Maxim, but it started to lose me when they changed editors in chief.

That editor moved to GQ and I gave that a whirl for a while (not sure if he's still there). Who's in charge there now?

You're a swimmer? Like, competitive? I sink like a rock in water. Dunking in water kills witches and Jordos.

The latest C&D/R&T, Brownings catalog, Cabelas catalog or game time on the phone lol. Phone gets a anti bacterial wipe down before leaving, every time without fail.

Usually rotate a few "bathroom readers" every so often.

DjSquall 02-15-2015 08:19 AM

I'm currently on the crapper reading this thread...

GaleForce 02-15-2015 09:29 AM

For me it's, Guitar Aficionado in print/paper, not e-mag. Guitar Reviews - Celebrity Lifestyle - Luxury Goods - Guitar Aficionado Link for reference.

Jordo! 02-15-2015 04:58 PM

^^^ That's a cool mag

I also really prefer good old fashioned magazines over e-versions.

Which reminds me: Any fellow splatterpunks/gorehounds in here?

Now that Bizarre is no longer in print, I need a recommendation for something that is both in print and in English and is somewhere between Fangoria and Alarma! in content.
