I just paid $3.79 for premium yesterday. There was a refinery closed around here for maintenance a couple of weeks ago, so gas in Minnesota and Iowa was up at $4.29 for awhile. Came back down as fast as it went up. Weird.
Here, non-oxygenated (no ethanol) premium is available at only a very few stations and it's technically illegal to use it in anything other than boats, off-highway vehicles, or collector cars. I have a 250 gallon tank that I use for boats and have it filled with the non-oxygenated premium a couple of times a year but I see no reason whatsoever to bother with ethanol-free gasoline for any of my cars, Z included. |
