This is my only car and I'm driving at least 50 miles per day, and spending around $60-70 / week on gas. I was thinking about getting a cheap used Civic or something along those lines and just getting the cheapest liability insurance available for it. But I'm with you, it is pretty brutal.

$5.60 for a US gal ($6.73 Imp gal) last night for 91 octane. Price is expected to go up another 4 cents per gal tonight.

Last week it went from 3.97 for 91 to 3.85, then over night on Tues. it jumped back to 3.95.
Ridiculous that they're allowed to do this type of stuff. |
