Well compared to NY and Cali which range from 4.50 to 5.00. It will never be like the good old days.

Dude you are going way back to the '60's here with that pic man. I think sub to high $3's would be good for premium.

Lemers 05-04-2012 09:11 PM

I saw $3.82 today. I've been in the field for 2 wks and it was $3.91 when I left. .10 drop, Obama's policies must be working.

Hmmmmm........ Maybe, but he is just trying to get re-elected that all. Then we will get F'd hard again on gas prices.

I remember a .99 cents a gallon for premium. I remember thinking $1.80 at the marina for super was robbery! When I could get it for $1.35 at the gas station. Filling my boat up with a 50 gallons burn around the lake was nothing. :shakes head:

All right....... Never been there, but very sweet. A hell of a lot better than paying that BS city price for premium gas.

People that have lived in the area don't even know they drive past the city constantly lol. People from Lewisville/Frisco/Plano (neighboring cities) still don't even realize its there lol. On the high way, its about a 5 min drive to pass it if you hit all 4 stop lights lol.

Yesterday I paid 3.79 for gas. After I filled up I found it for 3.75 so there's. That's about a 30 cent drop since 3 weeks ago. Some relief. But I would like to see at least 3.00 for premium again. That would be nice. Shyt. $1.59 would be awesome. Lol but I don't think the prices of 1999 will ever come back. :(

chrischhorn 05-07-2012 04:38 PM

Earlier today! Chevron ran out of Regular and was sellin Premium at regular rates!

I'm surprised gasbuddy.com has not been mentioned here (I tried searching the thread). It's a community contributed site that has somewhat real time fuel price updates of most gas stations in any given community. They also have an android (iphone?) app too. Very useful locally and on long trips.

Cafiax 05-07-2012 05:26 PM

gas in Vancouver BC. $1.56/L which is $5.89/Gallon :(

CA rant

I pay 4.35 - 4.55 for nice premium CA petrol (have to call it petrol at this price). It's worth it you see. It smells better because they put some special CA fragrance. It burns cleaner 'cause we have to satisfy the CA tree huggers association, and CA processed (at the border really), and super synthesized, hi-resolution bs filled petrol. That's why we pay more.
Despite all this, I still drive like gas is cheap because of the Z.
