Here in Georgia, it's creeping up to $3.00 a gallon. It's at $2.80 or so right now.

For the last year, I either take a hit on the stock market, or a price drop at the pump....but never both at once.

I heard on the news last night that there will be a tax applied to all fossil fuels to the amount of $0.77/gallon gradually increasing through 2020. That doesn't count actual cost (supply/demand) trend pricing changes.

i heard on the news a couple weeks ago that there will be a $.77 hike in the taxes on gas for the sole purpose of dissuading people from buying as much.... sounds like the opposite of the "supply and demand" that I was taught.

...it's remained stable at $2.69/gal. Oh, and BTW, that's a 93 octane rating, not 91, as I mentioned in my original post! My bad.
