Yep, just paid $3.93 for Chevron premium... :icon14:

shabarivas 02-25-2011 03:32 PM

ehh i would much rather have gas be around 4.50 a gallon - it would make for MUCH less cars on the road and a much happier commute for me.

A dollar a gallon is a small price to pay for living in cali... i mean we pay WAY more for rent / property value but i dont see people complaining about that - why? its cali...

memorylasts 02-25-2011 03:34 PM

too much, Cali is supposed to top off at ~5.00 idk if that is for reg or the crappy 91.

b1adesofcha0s 02-25-2011 06:31 PM

Paid $3.27/gallon for 93 at Sam's Club. The Shell across the street had it for $3.62. I still end up paying like $50 a week though.

I'm with you! If you care about the cost of gas this side of $20 a gallon, you should not be driving a $30k+ car; buy a cheaper car. One straw that broke the Camel's back and caused the abrupt economic crisis in this country is too many people bought too expensive houses and cars, and when the cost of gas went up quick in 07 to - oh my God - $4 a gallon, they were caught driving monster trucks as daily drivers, and their mortgage interest reset on ARMs by 1%, they went insolvent on their debts.

Like I said on the other post, buy a 15 year old Honda Civic for $1000 and get 30+mpg. Ten years ago, I had a girlfriend that bought such a car, and it was more reliable than most new cars and cost less to run than a good bicycle. And WHEN (NOT IF) the cost of gas hits $6 gallon, you do not go bankrupt.

Wow these prices are crazy. Not being able to drive for 7 weeks is keeping me out of the loop. I did see their talking $4.00 per gallon around here soon for regular. And diesel up to around $4.50.

mark_taba85 02-26-2011 12:31 PM

Reading about rising fuel costs is pushing me away from getting a z.

Even though I have heard "if you are concerned about gas, then a sports car isn't for you."

I guess I wouldn' tbe the only one concerned about it.

TonyBPD 02-26-2011 03:02 PM

$3.20 for Sunoco Ultra

Don't trust the dots... others have been left stranded thinking they had more fuel than they had.

Give it some time, oil supply is not affected yet by the mideast unrest. The Saudis will up their production and prices should drop within a few weeks.
