New Z owner from Kentuckiana area
I’ve wanted a sports car for over 20 years. So my wife and I finally reached the point that both of our kids are in college and have their own cars. We decided that it was time for a non-practical car. My wife fell in love with the Z after walking the dealer’s lots two months ago. We test drove the Mustang, Camaro, and Z back to back. We both agreed that the Z was the best car for us. I joined the Z forum to read and research any issues the Z might have before purchasing. With no red flags found we moved forward on working a deal for a new magnetic black 2014 AT touring coupe, sport package, nav, and cargo cover at the local dealer. We made a good deal on the car and have had it about a month now. This will be a DD for my wife in the summer and fall, then I take over in the winter and she will get my Rubicon since she has a longer commute (I also get on the weekend). My wife wants the exhaust to sound tougher (her words), so the only mod we’re looking to do is a cat back system. I did get a second set of wheels and put the Bridgestone Blizzak tires on them for the winter (Indiana just outside of Louisville KY doesn’t get a ton of snow in the winter).
Does anyone know if the OEM TPS’s will need to be programed when the wheels are swapped out or will the computer just pick them up? |

Congrats and
Fast Intentions and Ark are two of the better exhausts for this platform IMO. I really like their tone As for the TPMS, if the second set of wheels came with them, you just need to verify they are the same part number as the ones that came with the car. There are a variety of TPMS for this car through the model years. Some searching ought to net you results fairly easily

The Wheels and TPMS were order through the dealer using my VIN so everything matches what's on the car now. I looked at after market wheels and it might just be my age, but I like the RAY sport wheels the best. |
