I had to show my husband this :) I've spent so much time the last week or so on this forum, he gives me such a hard time. I keep telling him, "See...it's not uncool to have this car at my age" :) You just proved it :) THANKS!

A nice car has always sort of been "my thing" I don't ask for much..but a nice car is a must for me :)

but yes, T/S/N is a great package. welcome to the forums!

It was a quick shot with my blackberry..sorry.. I'll break out my Canon DSLR in a bit...Photography is my second love :)

TamZ 09-28-2009 12:04 AM

And I was sort of waiting for the comment about the pictures because I saw someone else get made fun of for posting not so great pictures! hehe... I even thought, "Gosh..I'm glad they didn't give me a hard time about it!" and I signed on tonight to find that I didn't escape!

You have a nice looking Z there, enjoy! :hello:

Good for your wife! Sounds like your family enjoys Nissans...Aside from a quick detour to a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS-T I had back in 1999, I've had just about only Nissans..The first "new" car I had ever bought was a Nissan 240sx Hatchback...oh the memories..

I'm loving this forum!

With your exhaust question. The FI is not too loud my wife is a 31 year old school teacher and she drives the G37S with HFC's and catback to school. it is louder than stock but never has she gotten the WTF look from the other teachers for the car or the mods. Drive the car you want at any age no matter what. When you give in to what others think is when you start to age.

It's okay..I can handle it :) Actually, I can't wait to get some good pictures of it and I will share them when I do that. I have a few sets of Senior pictures to get done here before I start taking time to do some fun pics of my car!

Here's a picture I took of my other "ride" (lol) last month when I was touring all the National Parks in Colorado, Utah and Arizona. My H2 actually looks small compared to the scenery.

I have to attach them because I can't figure out how to embed them big into the post..Sorry!

First was at Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. This is up in the Rocky Mountains in Estes Park, Colorado. I spent 3 weeks taking pictures..Road trip with just me and my 3 kiddoz, it was great! (I apologize if we're only supposed to post pictures of our Z's!)

myfirstz 09-28-2009 10:40 AM

Congrats on the new Z! We have the same color...PG rocks! :ughdance:

Here's a pic of mine with a new set of wheels. Maybe this will inspire you? :) FYI...you can still sell your stock wheels easily since they're new. That will help offset the cost of getting new wheels. If not, the stock wheels still look very nice too! ;)

It's nice to hear so many other people enjoying the car as much as I am. I've had this car now for about 8 months, put over 11k miles on it and every morning when I walk out to the garage I still am in shock that it's sitting there.

I like your wheels! I have always had aftermarket wheels put on my cars but for whatever reason, I actually like these, which is unusual for me!

I LOVE PG.... :)

It's still not sinking in that the car is sitting in my garage either...I hope I still feel that way in 8 months from now too :)

On a different note, I'm excited... I was able to get my windows tinted today... I went with 35 all around..I still need to be able to see out the thing at night! (old age) LOL!!

Congrats TamZ! I love seeing how other Z owners step up from previous Z cars. You definitely seem like you'll baby this 370Z. I currently have a 300ZX(z31) so i'm hoping I can step up soon to a Z32 TT or 350Z.if i get really lucky a Base 370Z:tup:

motoextreme 11-28-2009 02:25 AM

Cool to see your so into the Z, my wife wanted me to buy another exotic but I wanted something that started every day!

You keep making it sound like your getting old, I'm 38 and still building cars, riding street bikes and enjoying life.

Only difference from when I was 20 to now...I can afford cooler stuff :icon17:

Have fun out there and since your local you should take one of your kids to a Z meet and say hello. I'm taking my son to the Fontana one next month just for fun.

All the best
Adam

PS. Wife loves the Z now, borrows it all the time (unfortunately...haha)

KillerBee370 12-06-2009 11:08 AM

Welcome

SmoothZ 12-06-2009 03:27 PM

BTW, 40 is not old. It's different but not old. I'm on my 2nd Z, and I have 3 kids and am still married. She gets to drive the car, also.

Hey Everyone!

Sorry..I've been neglecting my thread...I apologize. Finals week and all. You all still crack me up with some of the replies!

So I'm still loving the Z...I still smile every time I am walking back towards it. I felt this way about my 300ZX too...

Now that summer is over, I'm not dealing as much with the mats getting black on my feet...

I think I *am* having a hatch release issue..sometimes I have to push the button twice to get it to release but it does always release, just not always on the first try.

I have found one thing I REALLY wish they had done..My H2 has the homelink and the homelink buttons LIGHT UP...they do NOT light up in the Z...so as I'm driving towards the gate to our property, I have to play touchy feely with the buttons to find the right ones. Why would they not light up those buttons? Small issue but for a woman, sometimes it's those little things...(remember that!)

Hope everyone is doing well. It's raining here in So-Cal probably all this week so I've relegated my Z to middle stall in the garage and I'm driving the Hummer around all week. Boo!

:)
Tamz
Edited to say: Sometimes I wish I had gotten the 6MT....but mostly I'm glad I have the Automatic. I keep thinking back to the one I test drove (6MT) and I did have fun driving that thing!

Hey, I was just up in Portland last week. Not in the Z tho, the H2.

ricky bobby 12-08-2009 04:19 AM

Congrats and enjoy driving your Z, i am now watching snowflakes fall with plows and salt trucks to follow, my Z won't see the street 'til the salt is washed away:crying: which will probably not be 'til march/april:shakes head:

TamZ 12-08-2009 08:09 PM

It didn't rain today..so I snuck out the Z for a day of shopping. It is suppose to return the end of this week.. :) I continue to be shocked at how much I can actually fit in this car ;)
