^^ remote start is possible, we have some maxima's at my work with remote start (2008+ years). but yes I agree its going to be a PIA and expensive to install!

as for the emblem, i'd buy one! as long as the Z is the correct format in accordance to our generation and not tacky. stock color please!

lol, nope the Z will be the exact dimensions to match our current. As for the remote start I'm not willing to trust anything aftermarket. I've seen to many hack jobs, voided warranties, and residual issues. Totally agree on the PIA and price no matter how or where it's done.

This is a good place to ask though. We own Hinrichs Machine and Mfg. a prototype aerospace machine shop. My dad is tired of doing gov't contracts and wants something short run and more fun. So I thought of this. I want to make "Z" emblems to replace all of the "Nissan" emblems on the Z's. they will be the exact same dimensions and outside shape, but with a Z inside instead of the bar and Nissan. They will install the same as well. Most will be polished aluminum, but we can color anodize on request.

Would you and do you think anyone else would be interested?
