New 2014 Z Owner

I picked her up yesterday!! I located a new Silver 370z w/ Sport Package for 31k and I pulled the trigger. :driving:

Even though I've driven a manual for many years, just like my 06 G35 it felt like I was going to stall the car at any moment when taking off from a standstill lol.

Hi

Looking good, congrats and enjoy  Search for helper spring or RJM clutch pedal, takes the rough edge off the 6mt.

My experience with my 2014 vs my previous 2011 is that they apparently fixed the whole clutch engagement thing. Even after 3years, I had occasional trouble with the 2011, especially the 1 - 2 shift. From day one, my 2014 shifts like a completely different car. Engagement is smooth, easy to feather, no shuddering, no harshness. 1-2 shift is as it should be, downshifting is better than ever and now SRM works perfectly. 1-2 is still a little "notchy", but not bad, and I don't think that's a clutch issue.

I went to a parking lot yesterday to get used to the clutch engagement. Driving to work this morning it was better and I came to the conclusion that I'm rusty from not driving a manual for a year and I need to get used to the car.
