Greetings from a longtime Z fan! While I don’t have any recent hot photos of self with my stunning black Ferrari 328GTS to post I can tell you my nickname comes from the 1st body building title I won. Took 1st place in the state title a couple years later too. Simmer… About sports cars: most relevant here is my treasured 240Z with crazy mods (beats the Ferrari in a straight line) that has sparked my interest in the 370Z and in joining this forum. Raced RX-7 autoX w/ SCCA and worked corners at our local 2-mile 8-turn race track for many years. My God, SVRA & HSR was Heaven! I enjoy long walks on the beach… brutally honest conversation, candle lit dinners over a medium rare filet mignon, Star Trek, and men in well fitting worn Levis. What else do you need to know?

Well now I guess I must have forgotten I joined here years ago. "Venus" is my Ferrari name & "Snapshot" is my Miata name. Interesting you dug so deep & remember me. It really makes no difference to me which you prefer. I'm a pro photographer as well as a national body builder. Cars are the same. Are you a computer nerd or just curious? Designed all promotional materials for 24th Annual International Z Car Convention under my real name which I guess you know too.

BTW, I tried both my standard internet names w/ your admin & did not hear anything for a week about access to this site. Just about gave up trying to get membership. Should not be so hard if you want car guys to join and participate here. How many trolls are hunting Z warriors really? Just asking.

Ok, this is not going as planned. Part of the reason I love my Miata is that there is so much support from miata.net w/ a HUGE member base & kind hearted, interesting, intelligent guys who can rebuild their engine over the weekend. No matter what the subject, there are dozens of positive responses. I’m hoping to find the same quality here as ownership of a 370Z should be fun not a challenge.

You will find the same thing here - lots of knowledgeable ppl (not just guys) that love to share. Plus there is an active social side for those times you just don't feel like car talk.

I have found owning my 2009 Touring to be a LOT of fun. Not the cheapest car to have in the stable, even if you are a DIYer, but well worth it.

:iagree: the site is FILLED with awesome and helpful people, we do have maybe 1-2 bad seeds, but you can just ignore them. As for the comments, 99% of the community is guys, and for some reason, online it seems as though they are stuck on Antarctica and haven't seen a woman in YEARS, so that's why you'll get the mixed/weird responses. But you gotta roll with it a bit, and laugh it off.

In any case, welcome! And we still need pics of the 240 and Ferrari!

Thank you. Like I said I waited a couple weeks to get "approved" and may have applied twice w/ different names thinking something went wrong - hoping to get a response from admin ASAP. I may also have joined several years ago but don't remember. I really want this 370Z I'm looking at so wanted in. So call me "snapshot" at miata.net and "venus" in Ferrari universe. Point is I an't no troll. Just want to play with cars.

Well, I do apologize for the long approval wait, But Our Admin/AK370Z is pretty busy, And does try to get the NEW members approved asap, He is the only one who approves as the Owner of the site all other staff is here helping out on a volunteer basis.
