Hello guys, I found a 2011 Z base with sports package for a decent price and decided to get it. Welcome me.
edit - Ok, my original post did make it seem like I was disappointed with my Z, which is misleading. I couldn't be happier with my new purchase! I just made 2 observations which my old car is better at, everything else, the Z blows it out the water, which is why I purchased it.

It sounds like you bought the wrong car. There are plenty of cars that are nothing but engines strapped to seats out there for you. Maybe you should trade it in so someone who actually appreciates it can buy it.

Previous car, which I'm still deciding what to do with, is a gutted, supercharged tiburon (2550 lbs wet, ~300 whp) so as you can imagine, the Z feels like quite a turd in a straight line. here she is, dirty from her trek home. She went through a torrential downpour, and it began hailing. You can imagine my bunghole puckered up as though I had a warhead suppository, but the hail never got bigger than pea size, so no damage occured.
strip and gut your Z, and you will see a huge difference.. oh, and only sissys, and dudes who can't handle the curves go in a straight line...

not to mention you had to supercharge it to get it to 300whp.. :bowrofl: and strip it and gut it to be fast... and it's still ugly as sin..

A very defensive crowd here. I love my new Z, just making some comparisons in good fun. I've seen others post comparisons that their other car is faster and nobody freaks out? Anyway, I didn't buy the Z to go fast in a straight line, I bought it to look good and have fun.

A vette owner saying they came from a faster car is one thing, but they don't come from Tiburons and they damn sure don't refer to the Z as a turd. Not sure how you thought that would work out for you on a Z forum. :rolleyes:
