mixed emotions-future owner
watsup guys, my names alvaro, and i just joined the forums because im a future nismo owner :tiphat:
im sad because im going to have too get rid of my most prized possessions... my 09 S2000. :shakes head: i dont know if any of you have owned an s2000 but its an amazing car. it takes a while too learn how too drive it. its not a FAST car, but it is an amazing machine. the way it feels and handles is nuts. well anyways i feel like i need a more "luxurious" but sporty car which is why I'm doing the switch. just have a couple questions for you guys. 1. is the red nismo the rarest color of them all? 2. how many of you are located in the 951-909-626 area? 3. any tips? :) |
I rarely see red nismos.
There are quite a few, come to the cerritos meet. First saturday of every month. There's a thread somewhere. Oil cooler ASAP if you plan to track or drive hard. |

Really depends on what you are looking for. I can guarantee there will be times when you miss the S2K... It's a special car. But the Z is far more suited to everyday driving than the S is. Bigger, more comfortable, generally nicer inside, quieter, etc.
After owning my 370, 5.0 and s2k I think I can say that the Z does a pretty good job of combining the s2k and 5.0. It's not the most powerful or best handling, but it gives you enough of both to keep most people satisfied. I'd recommend driving one as much as you can just to make sure it is exactly what you want. Just remember its very much a compromise in the 370 since it tries to be a bit of everything. The S is far more specialized but that comes with some downsides if you try to use it as a daily driver, which I am sure you know. If the S is your weekend fun car I would be inclined to keep it. If its your daily driver I think the Z would end up being a better choice. But ultimately it comes down to test driving and determining what you think you will like better. |

To be honest, I've never seen a GM one... And the rarest is Monterey Blue... Only ONE in existence!!! And the 40th would be the next rarest because there are 0, LOL |
I;m sure the Nismo section of the forum has a list of build numbers and by color
