Hi there
Been lurking the forum for a few months now and figured it was time to join. Cars I've owned/own: 1976 BMW 2002, 1976 Porsche 924, 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo, 1994 Volvo 940, 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. Worked as a part time mechanic at a BMW shop for a year...I'm no master tech but do know a thing or two about wrenching. Long story short, Porsches are awesome!...Maintenance, not so much. Seeing that I'll be returning back to school for the spring majoring in sports med, I can no longer deal with the heart(wallet)breaks and headaches that come with owning an older Porsche. Sold one of my motorcycles the other day and soon to get rid of the car in the next few weeks in which I will then have enough to put down on the next best thing from a Porsche hence my user name. Really feeling a pearl white 2013. But ultimately it all comes down to the number$. See you around

First of all, welcome, second, I wouldn't consider this vehicle for the poor. Let's just call it significantly cheaper than the benchmark lol. Let us know when you get it.

Thanks all for the warm greetings
Haha, as much as I'd like to hate the car, I really cant complain about it despite its shortcoming of power. Mine was kept in pristine condition and has gotten me through many adventurous road trips and some gnarly off road driving on multiple occasions. Considering the crap I put that car through, (knock on wood) it continues to pull past its 200k mile mark never leaving me stranded and driving like it just rolled out the dealership. Luckily on those days I do feel like catching some wind, I got my Porsche, soon to be 370z.

The paint on it also burned even though it was white and garaged... That fúcking thing... (Doesn't really dissuade me from getting a newer one (cousin has one of those) and it's MUCH better...) Anyways I'm glad I scrapped ours. And again, welcome to the forum, I hope you go to a lot of your local meets! The 370Z guys I have met have gotta be the nicest people I have met in any car community! Enjoy your time! |

Lol, lets not lie to each other, it is, LOL, I know some of us LIKE Japanese reliability and such, but then it's a poormansGTR, because let's face it, 95+% of us would rather have a GTR, lol, and we put GTR components on our cars, lol (start button anyone)

I'm a car enthusiast, but car forums are filled with fan boys who think their car is the best it gets. Look at any 370 vs whatever thread and you know I'm right
