Indeed. I'm really liking the Amuse kit and still looking around the forums to see if there are any options.

I'm hoping to book a testdrive this weekend.

Sports package - that includes the big brakes and nav, I think?
AT is quicker 1/4 mile wise, but i still think a sports car should be MT, but thats up to you.
Sport package gets you front and rear spoilers, LSD, and bigger wheels and brakes. Nav is it's own package. We have a different option group then the US guys do as far as how the car starts off.

Yea. Sometimes I hope someone would damage my bumper or fenders. It'd give me a pretty good reason to slap an Amuse kit on.

but you guys would probably have more experience with a car like this and you guys probably wouldn't rape the **** out of your car every chance you get.

i won't lie, i took the Z to 130mph the night i bought it. drove off the lot at 11pm, hopped on the freeway, and gave it a real test drive.

i love the new WRX/STIs, but the choice is up to you. many would say that its a boy racer car, but i dont see it that way. I wouldnt call a Mustang a boy racer car.

theres a post on NASOIC where a mechanic purchased the base WRX with intentions of modding it to achieve more power than what an STI could with the price difference. you wont have an STI tranny or terrain control, but he did achieve almost 490whp with less than $6k-$7k.

i wouldve gotten an STI hatch though, theyre ******* beautiful.

I think it's because of the look of them that give them the boy racer reputation. Big wing, hood scoop, gold wheels, and a turbo. Not to mention, more "boys" drive them than actual rally enthusiasts. BUT that's not to say that's a bad thing - the Subie crowd is a friendly crowd, but you can tell there is a sense of superiority among them thinking that they are the fastest thing out there.

The WRX's are indeed capable of just as much, if not more, than the STI. My friends' WRX is faster than mine with pretty much the same bolt ons, just a different tune.

I feel like the 370z is a bit more of a grown up sports car. There's a sort of finesse and maturity to it. It doesn't have the big wing, the hood scoop or anything saying that you want to race. Just a nice V6, clean lines, and the potential to really beat a lot of things on the road... and it does it "silently".

Whatever the case, I've jumped from scene to scene - Honda, to Subaru, and now here and it's all been great. Different goals and mindsets for each forum community and I love it. So far this place is awesome to browse around.
