Exclamation Might be driving a new 370z nismo sooner then i thought.

So hey guys,

My name is mario (OBVIOUSLY) and at the moment i'm driving a 2012 Genesis 2.0T, it has given me soo many problems it's not even funny, sucks to be the 1st one in texas to get the 2012 but also to have that one be the LEMON of them all.

list of my issues,

1.spark plugs break in half
2.spark plugs break in half
3.Computer F***S up
4.car shuts off on me in the middle of the highway
5.5th gear grind
6.car doesn't start
7.knocking noise when passenger side window goes down..

So i have decided i might just take the hit and trade it in for a 370z nismo, i don't want to deal with all the negative equity issue, but first of all, i only live once, second, I'm very young and still live with my parents and hey before anything is said i am only 18, just graduated highschool 3 months ago.. and third... it's the only bill i got besides my cell phone! It just sucks that all of this crap happened..

ANYWAYS, i decided to get a Z because it's a very nice car, two seater, and i have heard good things about it.. i know there is a issue with the oil cooling?! but hey i can spend some money on a aftermarket piece for that.. no big deal..

just want to hear some POSITIVE feedback from you guys on how the Z moves and if it is well worth it!

yes i know

MY CAR IS A HYUNDAI..

that's why it is doing what it's doing..

i've had it for a year...and one month..

Would the negative equity be worth it?

only other option is to do the lemon law on my car but hey, that takes a while... just want to be in a car that actually works!

Any help is appreciated

Your only going to run into an issue with the oil cooling if your racing the car on a track.

Yeah that's what i heard, would it be safe to just get it first hand though? not saying i'm going to push the car to the limit when i first buy it but you know we all have those days when it happens.. not that i top it out and redline the crap out of it! Just want to be on the safe side!!

I love the Z but personally I wouldn't make the trade yet. You've had a few problems with the Hyundai but you're still covered by a warranty. I know it can be a pain but those aren't exactly huge issues you listed.

Keep the car for at least another year, save your money and then decide what you want to do. IMO, throwing away your money over a few minor issues is something you're likely to regret later. That's money you could be spending on mods!

Yeah i know and i understand where you are coming from. It just feels like everything is breaking lol. and plus i actually did buy a tune for my car "hand held" the day i was going to actually tune it, because i did have it read the cars stock numbers and what not that is when the cars spark plugs started acting up! and my car wasn't even tuned yet. so after the 2nd time they broke in half they put in a new computer and it would cost me $350 for them to unlock the tune for me to use it again, i was like "SAY WHAAAAA???" so i got rid of it!

Overall reason i am considering the 370z because it sounds AMAZING!!!!!

hate 4 cylinder sounds lol. i'm into the sound the 370z and infinit offer and also the v8 sound. I have/HAD a ls2 GTO with 550Hp and wow that car is LOUD, but i gave it to my dad.... he deserved it, he needs a car!!!!! he is the type of person who will take care of the car and do what he needs to in order to have it running correctly and has no problems.
