Well I finally pulled the trigger on the Z. I have been undercover on this website for months, what a wealth of info. This is the first Z car I have ever owned. I purchased a PG/6sp/touring/sport/navi. and feel that I got a good deal at 36,700. One stupid question though, does the car automatically lock when you exit w/ the key fob or do you have to do it manually? If it does it automatically is it on a timer or should it do it immediately? How far away from the car do you have to have the fob for the car to lock and/or unlock. Seems like a dumb question but the electronics in this car are just slightly more complicated than the honda civic I had before. lol

Congratulations! Any pics?
Car will not automatically lock or unlock. You can unlock like most other handheld remotes, but you have to be in close proximity (within approximately three feet) to have in your pocket and click the door handle unlock or start the car.
