As long as your credit is descent, I would advise you get approved for your own loan BEFORE you go and shop. It puts the ball in your court. Check insurance rates for all the cars you are looking at as some will cost you significantly more than others. (Insuring my Corvette C6 was cheaper than insuring my Z) Also, check out what others are paying BEFORE you go. I sold cars for BMW and LEXUS for a long time, so the biggest thing I think you should know is.....pick a dealership that you enjoy going to.....meet their service department.....see if they are mod friendly.
