Default New 40th anniversary owner

just picked up my car tonight. I love it. Bought it from another member here just up the road. I also just finished restoring a 280z so I have both a 1st Gen and now the 370. I'm located just outside Louisville KY and am a member of the Bluegrass Z car club

Congrats and welcome to the forums! The 280Z is technically a second gen, no?

Congrats. Love the 40th. @djpathfinder I think technically the 280 is still 1st gen. See

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_S30

Technically the 280zx was the second gen

Thanks guys. Yes, the 280 is still a first Gen (s30). 1979 is the 280zx, s130 2nd Gen.

Here is a pic of the 280

Welcome Kentuckiana member. I work in Louisville and live in Clarksville. You know. On the dark side of the Sherman-Minton issue.

I'd love to know more about the Bluegrass Z club.

Hey,
The Z Car club is a bit small. We have about 15 active members. All different generations. One member has 4 240z's in show condition. There are two 370 owners, a couple 350 owners, some Z32, 280's etc.. We meet at Collins Nissan on the 3rd Monday of the month at 6PM. Then we head over to Hooters after the "meeting".

Here is the link to the website and forum, it's not very active though as some of the members aren't that tech savvy.

Bluegrass Z Car Club
