New to the forum. Considering a 370z
I am new here and really intrigued by the 370.
My wife and I relocated to San Francisco from Dallas a couple of years ago, and I got rid of my car when I moved out here to save money. I had a 2005 GTO that I miss dearly. We decided to keep the wife's 93 Camry beater. Well, its two years later and I can't stand it. I need something with more sack. I am in the market and looking. The finalist are either the Z, the new Camaro, a used GT 500, or a used Vette C6. We live in the city and would only use the car for weekends etc. That could change once we buy a place (can't afford to buy a place in San Francisco). Look forward to learning about the Z. |

Welcome to the forums. GTO is a monster! Now, what kind of car are you looking for? If you are used to GTOs and looking for something similar, I will highly recommend you to get domestic muscle. But if you are looking for something very agile, responsive and well handling car, then 370Z is a good choice. It won't have the ungodly low end tq like the LS engines (VQ37VHR is a rev happy engine). You almost have to go above 3500 rpm to really feel the tq. But once you go past 4000 rpms, it'll put a smile on your face . I did drove domestic muscle for a while but once I drove the 350z and got spoiled by it's handling and power(well mostly handling), I never went back to domestics.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

cool man. Im in the market for a z but i have been into foreign high revving cars for a while. I just got rid of a meth injected evo. I think you will really enjoy the agility of the z my friend. Good luck to you.
