To be (hopefully soon) 370z owner.
Hello. I live in Toronto (Canada) and I am saving up to get my 370z. It is absolutely THE car I want and I've never been so sure. I have always been a nissan (R34, R35, 350z especially) fan and I absolutely love what they have to offer with the 370 for the price. I have been heavily considering as my next car the STi / Mitsubishi Evolution / Lexus IS350 but I have concluded that this is it. However, in Canada dealers have told me production has halted / slowed so I am not sure whether to wait it out to see if I can negotiate more price after it starts up again. I currently drive a 2009 Honda Civic Si, which I am going to keep since Honda's make amazing DD's. = ). Anyways, My name is Vince and i hope to be on the forum for a while !

Nice. Did you get the rose roadster? I'm looking for a white coupe with sport package but seems like nissan dealers cant even get me into a coupe to test drive or even see until like a month or two... ugh wait is killing me lol

I got lucky. Found a new 2010 black cherry and a dealer willing to make a really good deal. Finding exactly what you want is really difficult at this time. Hopefully you will find yours soon.

Deciding between red and black. I've owned a black car before and I've been hesitant to go back to black due to the difficulty of owning one, but since I will have a beater I am not sure between the two. How does the paint hold up on these 370's?

Vince. I ordered back in March from Alta - Woodbridge. They confirmed that my Z will be part of the June 2011 production run. Just a heads up if you plan on starting to talk to your dealer.

lol, guess that means my Z will be your Z's sibling in some sense as mine will be part of the June production run also ...kinda weird though since i ordered mine at the end of April/beginning of May.

haha ya that's pretty cool! I guess there's not much of a wait list since I ordered over a month before you did and we're getting them at the same time. I think I remember my dealer telling me that there were delays because of the production hinderance of certain parts due to the earthquake. BTW, did they give you an ETA? I want to know when the car will be delivered so I know when to order my CBE, intake, and springs.

As a matter of fact they did, it's not anything 100% solid as they told me to give them a call to check on it towards the middle of July, but they gave me an ETA of late July/early August if that gives you any ideas. Oh and sorry for highjacking your thread OP lol. |
