Default First Impression of my new Z

Hey guys,
Picked her up yesterday, it stopped raining just when I got to the dealer. Now mind you she's brand new and I haven't driven a manual car in 5 years so I took it easy. So far all I can say is that she's wonderful. I do feel that VDC is a bit annoying stepping in at times when I don't think it needs to. I haven't really pushed it but did have a chance to cruise through a few twisties, the car is planted and it's a very secure feeling. Of course it is a bit noisy you can hear just about every grain of sand you drive over but the exhaust note more than compensates. It's been awhile since I've had a "fun car" but I can say I'm very impressed, all my buddies have e46 M3's and I can't wait to see how the Z stacks up, if I had to guess right now it's probably about even but a new bolt ons should change that.

M3 and 370 quarter miles are very similar - will be a drivers race... skid pad however... is a different story

i beat and e46 smg in my 350. the 370 will definitely beat an e46...hands down. an e92 is a different story.

BMW won't listen to an offer less than 60 for the e92 M3. I think that's ridiculous and in the end the Z was a much better bang for the buck. Looks better in my opinion and is a true sports car not a GT car. The M's are waiting for me, my friends know that I'm still breaking her in but we're all wondering who is faster, I'll let you guys know how it goes, I'm at 850 miles thus far a little bit more to go.

the 135i beat e93 m3 in a 1/4 mile , and the 370z beat 135i in a 1/4 mile . So 370z will definitely beat e92 m3.

the e46 tested 0-60 around 4.5 with smg and 370z is 4.7 .

Will wait and see how it do, post a video if you can =)
