1 week away from owning... Red Touring/Sport
Been looking for a replacement for my MR2 Spyder and after test driving a base/sport 7AT a month ago I was hooked on the 370Z. I am going with the 6mt however and fly out next week to pick it up! I was shopping the base sport but heated seats and a few other touches in the Touring model sold me. Guess I am a little tired of the no frills but fun to drive MR2. Can't wait!!

well, you'll get more grunt and a great handling sports car.
way to go "flying out to get it" remember to vary your speed somewhat on the road trip home congrats and welcome |

dang i used to have a MR2 spyder way back in the day. it was a great car. ive needed a little more power but it handled like it was on rails. especially after i put a set of coilovers on it. I hated how it went through rear tires though. Stepped up to a 350z and now on to pretty much the same car you are looking to get. Red Sport/Touring 6spd. I love every minute of it. Compared to the MR2 the entire car will blow you away!! pics when you get them!! and welcome

Thanks everyone for the welcome! I am looking forward to having some 'luxury' comfort and serious power compared to the MR2. Even though the Z is substantially heavier it doesn't feel like it in terms of handling or ride, it has just the right amount tuning for a very sporty feel. The 370z also seems to be pretty rare, or maybe it's too early in the season still but I have yet to see one on the road since I've started paying attention to em. Even the Denver auto show only had the roadster.

Hi, and awesome car. The color is too feminine for my tastes, but at least it'll stand out in the crowd.
I just saw my first 370Z on the roads today. It was a white 370Z, unfortunately it was going the opposite way so I caught it for maybe 2-3 seconds. I couldn't tell if it had the sports package, it moved too fast and was surrounded by other cars. |
