21 is acceptable.

I'd just hate to see a post a month later saying it was wrecked due to lack of experience. As long as you've actually driven something shitty a while and feel confident, its cool. Otherwise, all I can say is this: be VERY careful! Grats on having nice parents lol. All I got for free was a 1989 Geo Spectum, woot woot! :ughdance:

Good for you. I'm only 25, and Ive gotten 3 new titled vehicles. All I can say is, the feeling of wanting to be overly safe is a GOOD thing. Treat the car with respect, and take your time to learn every nuance of it before you push it to the limit. Im not trying to stereotype you here, because I was your age not that long ago - I know the things I did that could have easily lead to disaster. Not respecting blind spots, showboating for your friends and the general feeling of wanting to push your new car to the limits can be mistakes you will regret. While I never got into an accident, I understand now how close I could very well have come to doing just that. Ive seen far too many people that young get into accidents and be at fault, ruining their insurance for years to come, and losing their nice new car due to silly mistakes.

OK, enough of my preaching, congratulations (I hope) on getting a FINE new car!
