New CFR 370Z owner. check out the pics.

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the Z scene, but hope to be a frequent contributer to the site. I just picked up my CFR (Chris Forsberg Racing) 2010 370Z. It is a one of a kind custom modded Z that was done by Chris Forsberg (Formula D Champ). It was painted this custom color to match the new NOS energy cans paint scheme. The car was featured at the E3 convention before I bought it and thats where the pics were taken. I got it with 2,000 Mi on it and its the coolest car I have ever owned.

Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think...

Very nice.
Did she come with it? I mean, after all she's color-matched!

tjlazer 10-04-2010 10:30 PM

Nice. Now go get a Seibon CF spoiler for the rear end. She needs it. ;)

Wow. That's an amazing color combination! Looks good!! And yeah. I agree, you definitely need a carbon fiber spoiler to finish it off.

Thanks guys, I had to remove the front lip though. It was actually damaged during shipping and was too low anyway. I couldnt get in/out of half the parking lots in town. It still looks good without it though.

I'm considering removing the Decals, what do you guys think about that? I was thinking maybe remove them all except the ones on the skirts or maybe all but leave the stripe. Let me know what you guys think.

Sweet ride man. Do you mind if I ask how much you picked it up for?

the car looks the same as the pics minus the front lip now. I'll get some new pics when I change the decals or install my sound system.

Nice! Looking forward to it! Were you the original winner of the car? I saw it was won by someone in SC just by "playing video games." That's one heck of a prize to win, if so!

No, the guy that won (playing need for speed or something) in SC was tagged with some ridiculous taxes (on a free car) so he turned around and sold it to me. He drove it about 2000 miles, once to a car show in Atlanta and Myrtle beach before I bought it.

yea, the gift taxes are insane. something like 50%

CBRich 10-05-2010 01:51 PM

Very interesting way to end up with a car. I personally wouldn't change much of it as it is a one-off.

yeah, I was thinking that at first but I really dont know if I can live with so much vinyl on the car. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be taking at least the hood decals and the stripe off tonight. I'll post pics when I'm done so I can get some feedback on the rest.

ThoriumHotdog 10-05-2010 10:02 PM

I'd pull all the logos/decals off but leave the yellow stripe. Thats just me though.

Z BEST 10-05-2010 10:39 PM

nice and congrats!

too late lol. I removed the hood decals, window decals, and stipe. I left the decals on the skirts and low on the side, I think it looks pretty good. I'll post up some pics when I get some daylight tomorrow.

Falcor 10-06-2010 07:25 PM

Ok Got all the vinyl I wanted to get off, Heres a quick walk around vid of the car. Let me know what y'all think.

Nooo! I loved the front lip!

bluelion 10-10-2010 10:34 PM

yeah, the front lip accented the side skirts.... are you planning on taking off the side skirts also ?

No, I'm keeping the side skirts and the rear lip on the car. Its a lot easier to get around v with it off the front. it looks a little unbalanced with it off in the picture, but in person it actually looks pretty good. I wish could have left it on but it was just too impracticable.

LuckyJinx 10-11-2010 12:20 PM

I saw that on AutoTrader. I was gonna buy it. But you beat me to it lol. I MIGHT do something like that on my nismo.

+1 for putting the front lip back on. It needs it!

Falcor 10-11-2010 07:53 PM

trust me, i want to put it back on. But it would only last about 3 months with the way all the parking lots and speed-bumps are around here. Its not worth cracking my front fascia for. I do appreciate all the input though. I'll post some better pics of the front from a different angle. Hopefully Y'all won't think its so bad.

Nice Z and cool story of how you got it.
