, I'm currently the owner of a 03 Sentra Spec V. I've been wanting a Z for a while now and it looks like now might be the time. I'm definately waiting for the 2010 model though, but I figured if I joined the forum now there would be less of a chance of me changing my mind.

Hey, thanks for the welcome. I'm waiting til 2010 for a couple reasons. I prefer not to buy the first year model of any car, but the main reason is to give myself some time to raise money for a decent down payment. I was going to trade in my sentra, but I've decided to give it to my sister, so I need another way to bring that total price down some.

As for the model and color. I'm going for the Base model w/ Sports package for sure. Red is my favorite color, but my sentra was red so i might want something different. My 3 top choices came down to Red, White, or Platinum Graphite. I'm thinking they may give different color choices next year so I don't want to settle on a color at this time.

Well my bday is in September, so maybe I'll get it then as a bday present to myself, if the money is right. I'm hoping there's a darker grey available, kind of like the EVO 8 or 9 grey.

remember that September will most likely be the release date in japan and it will be another 3-4 months before it hits the states

whats up man, i am also waiting, well the only reason is because i want the 2010's to come out so i can get a good deal on the 09's. but i also think it will b cool if the 370 came out like the evo 8 grey. to me the 350z carbon silver is darker than the grey 370z. not sure tho.

Well, 7 years later and it finally happened. It got traded in to the dealership I work at about a month before my bday. I just stared at it everyday til one Saturday I decided to pull the trigger. 40th Anniversary Edition.

Awesome! Congrats on the purchase!!! I too got mine within a week of my birthday, my 30th to be exact. All my friends are calling it my midlife crisis.
