Hello - Chubbs here at last...
Hi everyone!
Well, I've been posting here for a few weeks now - and all-in-all I quite like the place, so I really should say hello properly... Firstly, I live in England and I've owned 350z's since 2004 (a silver and a black one). I've done a few things to them - nothing hardcore - and I still LOVE them. For a few years I was heavily involved in the 350zUKownersclub, which is now called Nissansportz.com - a most excellent bunch of people in the UK and an excellent Z club. When the 370z arrived in America I was interested (of course). I surfed quite a lot, stumbled on this forum and got a bit hooked. I didn't intend to 'stick around', but the feeling was good and I got slightly drawn in - and here we are! I live just north of London, I love my Z and I'm completely torn between keeping it and getting a 370z. Your experiences will help me decide. I hope I can be of some help while I'm here - there are several people online who seem really nice. It's my ambition to visit America one day - perhaps I'll meet you and see your Z! If you ever come to England I could show you around and let you see what it's like to drive on the PROPER side of the road ffs. No more details for now - just say hello and make me feel wanted! Oh yes, the cars...

Maybe I'll visit YOU before you come here - the stupid english people said 'no' to the Euro because they have a sentimental attachment to seeing the monarch's head on their coins! Duhhhh. I'd love to visit my old auntie Monica in Seattle (she married a GI at the end of WW2 and emigrated to America, where she had 7 kids). Firstly, I'd like to get to the SW coast of America, spend a few days there, then drive up the west coast to Seattle and see her - in a Z car, of course!

Welcome Chubbs! (although I think you may have been here before me )
beautiful Z'z. Thats a great picture of the black one. Don't feel the need to spend your entire visit on the west coast, you could start over here in Orlando where I live and cover the whole country! Better yet you could start in Seattle and head this way ending up in Key West, cover the whole country and visit the southernmost city of the United States! Would only take about 2 weeks. lol. Seriously if you get to the US I cannot recommend any sites on the west coast but I would say if you get the chance try to see New Orleans or Key West. Two great places.

Hey Chubbs, if you ever make it to my neck of the woods, I'll take you to go shoot some assault weapons! Right now you're either thinking 'Sounds like fun' or 'That guy is CRAZY!'

That's a really nice offer mate - I'd love to take you up on it one day. Funnily enough, before I realised you'd posted this, about 2 hours ago I google-mapped Atlanta, just to see whereabouts in the USA you live (don't worry, I'm no stalker!). As far as guns are concerned, I'm ambivolent - as a teenager and into my twenties I thought they were cool. I owned an air pistol and loved to shoot at targets with friends, scare cats and have mock drunken gunfights etc, but then one day I shot a bird that was perched on a TV aerial ...and I felt so bad. It was an evil thing to do and if there is one reason for me to go to hell that will be it. I will never forgive myself for that. These days I can see no good at all in guns. Having said that, I'd love to go for a shoot with you! - as long as it's not at living things. Like I said, as far as guns are concerned, I'm a bit of a paradox. ps - If ever you come to Europe, stop by and I'll make you a cup of tea/buy you fish & chips!!!

No worries, I don't shoot at living things for fun. I was actually in London just last year. Stayed at the Royal Garden hotel. Went to Brussels as well. My wife was on a business trip so I decided to tag along.
