Default My turn. Hello from San Francisco. Heres my car....

Well Im bored at work and have yet to make one of these threads, so might as well. I plan on becoming a active part in this community for the next few years until Im ready to purchase a 370Z* (*economic condition allowing. Im in finance, you understand). Living in SF makes it difficult (and expensive) to own a car, so I have always owned older cars.

My current pride and joy is a 1988 300ZX Turbo Shiro Special. It is stock looks-wise, but I have completely redone the suspension (poly bushings, bilsteins, new springs, strut mounts, etc), intake, and exhaust. In addition to the regular maintainence items, I have replaced all the wonderful little rubber hoses under the hood, and more recently under the dash (NEVER opening up a dash again). It currently has about 90,000 miles on it. I seriously think Ill cry (ok, Ill be very sad) when I get rid of her but I want one new car in my life and I think the 370Z would be a good choice.

Remember guys, its good to know where we have been when going into the future. Now, here are some pix:

Little dyno vid, if you are interested...

Z has been silent for 2 months. Just finished some more work to her and I started her up for the first time. Man it felt good!
