New Member , got some questions.

Hey guys I just recently joined these foums. I always liked the 370z Nismo and tourning. I just have some questions on your experiences with the car.

Do you guys experience difficulty driving? Such as blind spots, size of the vehicle, etc...?

Do you feel it is quick? For example do you feel a thrill everytime you press that gas peddle :icon17:

What are your likes/dislikes about the car?

Any advice / feedback to those questions would be highly appreciated..

Thanks!

I don't think there's any difficulty with the side view mirrors. But backing up, it can be a little challenging. Some of us got a rear view camera which solves this problem.

Car is fantastic. It's a blast to drive. You'll enjoy best of both world - low end torque and a quite high revving engine.

Blind spots are only an issue when pulling out of parking spaces. Driving in traffic is a non-issue. The size of the vehicle is great. Much better than say, my 4th gen camaro ss for example.

I would define it as a quick car, whereas something like my 06 vette I would consider a fast car. I don't think any member here as illusions that this is one of the fastest cars on the road, but that it's plenty quick enough to provide smiles.

The upscale interior and its performance is the best mix I have ever found in a car under, say, $60k.

Blind spots are quickly resolved by adjusting your mirrors to this method. Thanks to Cliff for posting:

I, like other members, added a backup camera. This negates any trouble with backup out of parking spots, which to me is the only trouble. The positioning of your mirrors, if done properly, should cover pretty much everything except for the 3 feet between your license plate and the ground. .

While I haven't driven a Vette, Lambo, or BMW turbo, I have driven a couple camaros, an old Monte Carlo SS, and a few other, pretty-fast cars. The Z is definitely quick, and you'll be reminded of the performance every time you hit the gas pedal. Sometimes, however, the VDC will make that reminder short lived, haha.

The only dislikes that I have are the gas mileage and lack of a back seat/bigger cargo area. Those dislikes were understood before I purchased the car and are easily offset by the fact that my 2nd car is a SUV.

My likes are easy. It's a beautiful car that keeps me smiling every time I get in it, whether it's on my way to the grocery store or work. It's completely transformed my outlook on driving, which I now enjoy 100% instead of my previous feelings of "ugh, I gotta drive to the store this afternoon".

Matt, I was surprised to hear you are unhappy about mileage. I get over 25 mpg, and that's in a very traffic cluttered city. What are you getting?
