Default Hello

Hi guys, I've been lurking for a few months and just had my registration approved. I am building a G37X sedan and been coming here for information since there alot more serious builds here vs. the G forums.

I am new to this platform and have always built pushrod motors. My last build was a 9 sec LS1 car back in 2004/05.

I currently have the motor/transmission and subframe out of the car. When it's done hopefully it will be able to handle 20-25psi on E85.

It will run hard if I can get a 7at to hold up. I have a local that claims he can build one to hold. Not holding my breath...

Welcome to the 370Z forums. Speaking from my our experience the 7AT transmission is a durable and reliable transmission as long as you build it up according to what you are using it for. The best of luck with your build.

I agree that the 7at can be built to handle FI. The guy doing mine is confident his build will hold and is giving me a 2 year 24K warranty....even when the FI gets installed. Hopefully it works out...
