Just got back from the dealership not too long ago with a brand new Pearl White 370z Sport. This color is probably one of the nicest colors I've ever seen in person. It brings out the Z's rear shape/fender flares so well.
A quick intro about me...I got into cars ever since playing Need for Speed Underground as a little kid. My favorite car as a young school kid was the Evo VIII, and as I got older the Evo 9, and then the Evo 10. I loved Evo's and was sure it would be my first expensive car purchase once I was old enough and had the money. Fast forward a bit and the Evo is discontinued....I also realized that I actually do care a little bit about the interior/quality of a car. As good of a car as the Evo is it just has too many cheap parts in the areas where I'll be spending the most amount of my time in. Thus started my hunt for a different sports car. The BRZ/86 was a no go due to the cheap interior and popularity of them where I live. The Mustang is a good car but I was never really into muscle cars AND I see about 5 Mustangs in my 25 minute drive to work each day....same goes for the Camaro. The STI would have been perfect had they put the WRX's new FA20t engine inside it instead of keeping the ancient EJ motor. I thought about waiting for the new Supra/S2000 but knew they'd be too expensive and didn't want to wait. The last car I gave a chance was the Civic Type R and I'll be honest I really like what they've done with it. It does look way too "boy racer" but I think that's part of the appeal and performance wise it doesn't disappoint. Why did I choose the Z? It simply didn't have any glaring issues. It's not the fastest nor the best handling out of all the cars mentioned above but it still does all of those things well. Oh and its looks are staggering. Sorry for the long rant but I'm honored to be a part of this community and look forward to learning a lot. Last edited by goeagles11; 06-24-2017 at 08:12 PM. |
