My 1st Z <3
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the forums (1st post, as you can tell). I just found out that I passed the CPA exam while home in Philadelphia over Thanksgiving. Needless to say, the first thing I did was think about buying a new car to celebrate. I decided to sell my 2006 Honda Civic Si in as soon as I saw the 2009 Silver Nismo 370 on the lot at one of the local dealerships. The Si is a great little car, but, as you all know, it pales in comparison to this machine. Unfortunately, the nismo is sitting in a garage in PA until I get home for the Christmas Holiday and can drive it back to my apartment in Raleigh (That is when I will sell the Si). What a shame, I'm itching to drive it so badly...but hey, at least I got one day with it before having to head home to start work again after the holiday. In the meantime I will continue driving the Si until I get back to PHL and sell it. For those wondering, my Si had a 30% tint and 18'' Motegi DV5s wrapped in one of the all season performance tires Toyo puts out (i forget which). I had a Pioneer navigation put in in 2007, which then led to a full memphis audio package (amp, speakers, 12'' sub). I had the navi taken out and the stock headunit put back in when the navi crapped out, but kept the speakers/amp/sub. I also installed a short throw shifter in 2008, just for fun. I had plans for the Honda body kit/exhaust/suspension if I decided not to buy a new car...so much for that. I don't plan on doing anything to the Z, considering I bought the NISMO. I am sure there are things to do, and may change my mind in the future (im a sucker for new wheels), but for now it feels like everything that could be done to the car has been done already. Sorry for the long winded life story, just trying to answer some of the questions some people may have. Look forward to sharing these forums with everyone and learning everything there is to know about these wonderful cars. EDIT: pictures to come later |
