Hello everyone
Hey everyone. I am new to the forums. Currently a 2nd yr med student looking to upgrade his Z33. Right now I am doing all my research on the car and plan on buying one maybe in 2010. I want to wait and see if there are any bugs that need to be worked on 1st year production cars. I did this for the 350 and got her in 04. She isnt boosted or any crazy mods just a full bolt on with a tune putting out 272whp and 251wtq SAE corrected. Now the 370z is calling to me with the lighter weight and more power. I am sure with bolt ons, tune, weight reduction, and more aggresive gearing, and suspension mods can turn it into a fun little tossable track car. I mean its already giving Cayman S performance at 35K. Thats awesome. Looks wise...i dont think its ugly but it just doesnt have the flowing sleek lines like the 350. I am sure future body kits will smooth out the edges but im glad they refreshed the hood instead of just having a lump like the HRs. Well sorry for the long intro. Hope to meet some similar minded enthusiasts on here and getting great info about my future car. I am a member of my350z and glad to see another forum dedicated to one of the greatest sport cars around.

The new 370Z is amazing. Nissan did a phenomenon job on it. It's got all the right things at the right places. I don't know how much bug they will have on the 370Z because both engine and transmission has been tested for a while. The only concern would be the SynchroRev Match gearbox. We will find out how it holds up by the end of the year. You can use Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket or http://www.flickr.com/ to post your pictures. We are glad to have you here on our forums. |

Pic of my Z. Yeah its crazy being in med school. Really busy lol. But i manage. Anyways i understand what u are saying about the syncrorev match. I wonder how it will hold up and i wonder what will happen to it once we install an aftermarket clutch/flywheel. I read somewhere that the stock flywheel on the 370 was about 30ls. Thats heavy!!! I called up my local stealership and asked them if they had any 370z's on the lot. They said they have 2...one base and one touring. The base is 7AT and the touring is 6 speed. I am really itching to test drive the car and see how the syncrorev match works but they said they are only gonna allow serious buyers for a test drive. Like I said I do plan on buying one but not right now...:) |

Welcome. Having a 350 helps a bit (I have a 2003), but having seen the new model and reading all the great info on this site, I know when I take that test drive it's going to be hard to walk away!
