I have not been able to confirm this but I read $1500 just in tranny oil every 18000 miles and $4000 for the brakes. Not to mention already having a $1400-1600 monthly payment not including insurance and yearly excise tax. If you make 100k a year go for it.

Ive thought about it, and I think I may just save for two years and trade in the Z for a GTR. I already have 10k saved this year (was planning on a FI TT kit), but the more I think about it, the more Im realizing the Z is a young mans car (Im 32..had my first 350 at 22)
If I save for 2 years and trade in my 370Z (stop modding it now), I should have a minimal car payment in a GTR (goal being financing under 18k)

I wonder if the GTR was designed with daily driven in mind, most super cars are not. Again, unless you have ALOT of disposable income.

I dont know if anyone else has said anything, but these cars hate the rain. I totaled 2 350z's in the rain. Once when I was 18, doing the speed limit with my dad riding passenger. and then another at 20. Granted I was drunk for the second one but it was still a solo accident cause by a hydroplane. Stay safe out there.

Proper maintenance, healthy tire tread, keeping the VDC on, and experience behind the wheel will keep you plenty safe. .....oh, and don't drink and drive, derp.....
